Welcome to the SLC
The SLC is an academic and social program which welcomes all individuals to participate in lifelong learning and social engagement. People of every background, ability, interest, and educational experience take part in our courses, social events, workshops, lectures, and clubs on college campuses and in community spaces throughout Westchester, Rockland, and Orange Counties.

The Successful Learning Center (SLC) was established in 2008.

The mission of the SLC is to integrate individuals of all backgrounds into a dynamic community that fosters intellectual curiosity and promotes social growth. Built for learners of every type and life stage, the SLC shatters the traditional classroom mold. We facilitate learning by pairing flexible, forward-thinking academics with a vibrant, fun social environment which sparks real friendships, personal growth, and creative self-discovery.
