Join us for a fun‑filled August Social Club where students will enjoy a four‑week series celebrating the five senses. Through hands‑on activities, each theme week highlights a different way to explore the world and spark curiosity. This summer is perfect for students who enjoy games, art, music and sharing new experiences with friends.

August 10th Word of Mouth – For our first week of Social Club we will explore how the human voice acts as an instrument for communication and how our mouths experience taste. Trivia games, Charades, and fun taste-testing challenges will have us all laughing as we give voice to our silly side.

August 17th Let’s Get Loud – In this week’s Social Club, we will discover just how powerful our ears truly are! We will test our listening skills with friendly competitions like "Finish the Lyrics" and "Freeze Frame." Using old-school vinyl records as a creative backdrop, everyone will have the chance to express their creativity, show off their talents, and sing the day away.

August 24th Can’t Touch This – Get ready to put your sense of touch to the test with a fast-paced Sensory Scavenger Hunt. Week 3 will have us racing around to track down hidden objects by decoding a list of tricky textures. From there, we will unleash your inner game designer to craft custom puzzles and card decks before teaming up to conquer the ultimate blind mystery box challenge using only your fingertips.

August 31st The SLC in Technicolor – Our Summer 2026 club will wrap up with a feast for the eyes. This colorful day will include an SLC perennial favorite tie-dye project to inspire us for a tasty tie-dye cookie decorating session. We will sing, dance, decorate and compete for the most colorful performance using all five senses. We will “see” just who has the brightest smile.
